Spend a fall evening on a private ranch in Trabuco Canyon, moving your body, soothing your mind, and connecting with horses, nature, and others.
We’ll begin by settling into our surroundings with approximately 45 minutes of gentle yoga, breathwork, and movement. From there, we’ll spend time connecting and working with the horses to deepen nervous system regulation and experience the unique benefits of interspecies connection.
No prior yoga or horse experience is necessary. This event is open to ages 16 and up. A limited number of yoga mats will be available for those who don’t have their own.
This evening of wellness will be led by Heather Westenhofer, Sue Conklin, and the Sanctuary Herd.
Heather is a longtime yoga practitioner and teacher whose approach is rooted in hatha yoga and welcomes people of all backgrounds and bodies. She has completed yoga teacher training through Cloud Nine Yoga and Siddhi Yoga and holds a Level 1 Yoga Philosophy certification from Dr. Shyam Ranganathan.
Her teaching weaves together mindful movement, breathwork, meditation, and yoga philosophy, creating space for students to slow down, reconnect, and ultimately find rest in the teacher within themselves.
